The annual Club show is also the national chow specialty and the winner gets the title "club champion" (a non-official title). In the first five years of the club's history the winner of this show was called Chow of the year, but since 1980 the winner is called Club champion.
In 1989 the Club show was held in the Globe in Stockholm and that was the first time CCs were given out. Since then this show has always, with one exception, been a CC-show.
